IT Infrastructure Support
Based: Isle of Dogs
The key responsibilities are:
- Experience of providing 2nd and 3rd line BAU service desk support.
- PC & Server OS maintenance and builds.
- Essential experience with: VMware vSphere (5.5, 6) administration, Windows Server 2003/8/12, Windows XP Pro and 7 Pro, Microsoft Exchange 2010, Active Directory and Group Policy administration and configuration, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN, Backup (& Replication) Technologies (Backup Exec and Veeam).
- Desirable experience with or willing to be trained on: WebSphere Application Server v8.5.5, SQL Server 2005+.
- Telephony system administration.
- Desirable certification: MCSA and/or other Microsoft certification, role related certification.
- Understanding of IT security principles.
- Assist with projects in accordance with planning and development of the IT infrastructure.
- Liaise with third party suppliers and IT services through SLAs and other mechanisms to ensure the required 'Tradex IT service' is delivered effectively to the business.
- To assist and help in the IT department as and when required, the role may require the working of late evenings and occasional weekends to assist with ad-hoc projects.
You will have Microsoft certification or any IT related qualification. Along with the ability to analyse and solve problems, think logically and creatively, with commitment to see the problem through to efficient resolution.
